About Grady Burnett

My deep connection to the Wood River Valley began more than 40 years ago, when, in 1980, I left Denver, Colorado, to spend one winter in Sun Valley.  And like so many local residents, one winter has turned into a lifetime. You’ll hear this story time and time again – how a temporary stay becomes the rest of your life. After all, with the lifestyle, spectacular natural beauty, and dynamic community, it’s very hard to let go of this valley. And why would anyone want to? No other place in the world is quite like Sun Valley, a blend of sophistication and tradition with the laidback feel of Idaho.

I began my real estate career in 1992 with a small firm called Elkhorn Realty. I was fortunate to have a wonderful mentor who taught me the business from the ground up, he helped me understand that outstanding customer service and extensive market and product knowledge were the fundamental components to success in this business. From the very first day, I knew real estate was going to be my career. I loved the business and I was good at it.

In 1999 I joined several partners to form Sun Valley – Elkhorn Resort Realtors. I earned my Brokers license at that time and took my turn as designated/managing broker for the firm. With that experience I continued to expand my overall knowledge of the business and the client. I was managing and overseeing a productive office with six to eight associates, for whom I was ultimately responsible. It turned out to be an invaluable experience.

We left Elkhorn for downtown Ketchum in 2004 to form a much larger, independent agency called Sun Valley Brokers (SVB). Again, I took the helm several times over the course of nine years as the designated/managing broker. We grew that business to become the largest independent agency in Sun Valley. In addition to my management role, I was consistently one of the top-producing agents at SVB for the entire time we operated.

Then, in 2013, seven partners and I purchased a Keller Williams franchise. We recognized that in this global, technology-driven world, the nature of the real estate business had changed dramatically and we needed an innovative way to connect with and serve our clients. Keller Williams is at the forefront of technology and cutting edge marketing in the industry; as a result, it’s the fastest growing real estate company in the U.S. and is ever expanding internationally as well.

In 2016, as my business continued to grow, I realized that it was time to bring a partner on board. Who better to team up with than my amazing wife, Heather? With her eight years of experience in the Newport Beach, California, real estate market, Heather brings a diversity of talents to the table and is now working as our director of marketing and business development. She is the perfect partner, and we are already seeing the results of how effectively we work together. Clients seem to appreciate the benefits of working with a husband/wife team, and I couldn’t be happier with the new arrangement. It was a great move for both of us.

With my long and successful experience in the local real estate business and my deep connection with the valley lifestyle, I’m exceptionally qualified to serve the most discerning client. I’m able to customize a selling or buying experience for the financially sophisticated person who expects the guidance of an experienced and knowledgeable broker. Whether you are listing or buying, my goal is to provide a first-class, seamless, professional experience from start to finish.

I thank you for the opportunity to earn your business.

About Heather Burnett

I’m absolutely thrilled to be partnering with my husband, Grady Burnett, at Keller Williams Sun Valley – Southern Idaho. Together, Grady and I share a strong commitment to helping people find their dream home, first home or next home.

I was raised in Southern California and earned my bachelor’s degree in media arts and business at the University of Arizona. After graduation, my interest in communications took me to New York City, where I worked for a top public relations firm. After four years in Manhattan, I was ready for a change of scenery and returned to California to pursue a career in real estate. For eight years, I worked as a licensed agent specializing in the Newport Beach and Corona del Mar areas. During this time, I gained a solid foundation in the real estate industry and built a reputation as a dedicated client advocate and advisor.

Having first visited Sun Valley as a teenager and later spending time visiting family in the area, I decided to relocate to Sun Valley in 2007, inspired by the region’s unparalleled beauty and quality of life. This fresh start gave me the opportunity to explore my interests in special event production at the Sun Valley Center for the Arts, where I was really able to put my creativity to work.

My professional life came full circle in 2016 when I returned to my real estate roots and joined my husband Grady, in his business at Keller Williams. I quickly gained traction in the local real estate community and made an immediate impact on our business. I pride myself on my ability to forge strong relationships with our clients, and I am passionate about sharing the magic of Sun Valley with people who are considering making this special place “their place.”
